Title:  Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Architect

 

CLIENT  is a fast-growing managed services provider (MSP), that provides managed and hosted services for Oracle’s suite of enterprise applications.  They  are looking for a driven, customer-focused Hyperion architect at our Bedford, Massachusetts headquarters.  As a member of the customer-facing Service Delivery team, you will work with customers on both proactive and reactive technical issues, assist in capacity planning, provide reporting, and manage the overall health of our customers’ Hyperion environments. 

With a back office of more than 100 technical resources in four global offices, you will assist in prioritizing and scheduling work with our 24 x 7 domestic and offshore teams to meet contracted Service Level Agreements.  Strong customer service skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and a passion for excellence are also a requirement.

 

Location: Bedford, MA             

Duration: Full Time

Salary Range: $80K - $100K

Education: BA/BS Preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

•           Strong experience shaping and leading large scale Hyperion implementations inclusive of design, build, test, deploy and maintenance activities

•           Ten years overall experience of which eight need to be with IT operations. Must have at least five years experience with Hyperion EPM products and technologies:  Foundation Services, Essbase, Reporting and Analysis, Financial Management, Data Management

 

•           Strong presentation and communication skills are a requirement. Will need to participate in C-level customer meetings and lead on-going discussions with both customer and internal management.

•           Ability to set and communicate standards and policies for the maintenance and support of Hyperion products.

•           Desire to constantly monitor for Hyperion product updates and be able to communicate relevant findings

•           Strong relational and multi-dimensional data modeling skills. Must also have strong SQL skills and be able to assist users with SQL based views and queries.

•           Able to identify opportunities to optimize performance of existing systems and data structures

•           Knowledge of data, master data and metadata related standards, policies, processes and technology.

•           Strong Finance functional experience with ability to work directly with end users.

•           Strong relational and multi-dimensional data modeling skills.

•           Past experience with data analysis, data architecture, data migration and database administration

•           Prior experience with one or more data management tools.

•           Hand-on experience on multiple operating systems, particularly Linux, is a requirement,

•           Experience with following Oracle products are a plus: Oracle E Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Middleware, OBIEE

•           Must have a good understanding of change management procedures. ITIL experience and knowledge is a plus.

•           Must have proven project management skills, as well as the ability to establish relationships and manage conflicts, analyze information, communicate, listen, and negotiate.  The individual must have both strong written and verbal communication skills, and writing samples will be requested.
