Senior Business Solutions Analyst - SAP CO

Objective:
Responsible for the development of business solutions in terms of business processes and business systems to support current business requirements, company goals, and the future vision in specific application areas. Interface with numerous areas of business to determine the best business solutions and SAP functionality. Lead the SAP project re-engineering efforts to support changes in business philosophy/strategy in specific application areas.

Description:
Study and map business processes and master data in specific application areas.
Document and/or review user requirements.
Lead business process and master data redesign ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.
Responsible to identify best practices and business system functionality enhancements as input into company-wide continuous improvement efforts.
In conjunction with business unit and corporate leaders, define KPI’s, controls, and individual roles that enable redesigned processes.
Responsible for project planning with respect to business process re-engineering and business system development. This includes defining the scope and phases of projects to meet business needs within budget and resource constraints
Responsible for business case development where necessary.
Prepare functional and technical specifications.
Perform system configuration and unit testing.
Lead business units in creation of tests plans.
Responsible to develop a stronger SAP user community through end-user training and super-user development.
Responsible for production support.
Coordinates with outside consultants to provide high-end technical support for SAP functionality when necessary.
Continuously improve processes and business systems to keep pace with changing business requirements.
Performs other duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.

Education / Experience:
A Bachelor of Science Degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
4 to 6 years of SAP configuration experience in specific application area.
Demonstrated ability in change management; and more specifically end-user training.
Demonstrated analytic, written, and oral communications skills.
Proven communication skills and the ability to influence change.
Strong project management and leadership skills.

Special Position Requirements:
    Must be willing to work overtime based on business needs.
    Extensive domestic and international travel for extended periods of time is required.
